I wanted to share the below article and photos with you all. The Goodrich Varsity Baseball Team brought home the Flint Metro League title for the 2nd straight year, and did it on their home field. It was a special night!

As you can see in many of the photos, the field is looking AMAZING with many of the improvements implemented so far, and all of you are a part of contributing to that. Thank you!

Everything is all about the players.  I could see pride in their faces as they did the work putting up all of the fence banners their parents’ businesses…the places their siblings work in the community… where they get seeds before the games… or where they get their haircuts. It matters big-time. It gives them community pride, pride in their field, something they are proud of when visiting teams come to play, it’s something they want to proudly defend. And they have…Varsity 29-0, JV 26-0!

Most importantly, it shows all these players what can be done in a supportive community like this. Thank you all!

The boys travel to Jimmy Johns Field in Utica May 24th for a double header with Holly starting at 4pm.
